Luca Girardini - Architect Born August 6, 1980 in Venice, Italy. Graduated in 2006 from the School of Architecture of Venice (IUAV), specializing in conservation architecture. Graduation project: the recovery project of the old Rummelsburg Power Plant in Berlin, with an analysis of the development of industrial buildings in Berlin and Germany in the 19th and 20th centuries. Working in Spain since October 2006, first in Barcelona and later in Madrid, collaborating with various architecture studios of international recognition. Since 2008 has specialized in restoration and recovery projects of monuments and old buildings, collaborating with Madrid architect J.R. Duralde. Projects involving buildings of historical value include: the Cathedral of Ávila, the Cathedral of Logroño, the medieval city walls of Ávila, various old Castilian monasteries, and 18th-century homes and palaces in Ávila city and province. Also active in photography, specializing in architecture and paying constant attention to historical architecture and pre 21st-century industry.
