Architect, born in Celje at 11th August 1960. Lived in Ljubljana and now living in Celje, Slovenia. Finished Faculty on Architecture, University of Ljubljana. Finished masters degree on Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, University of Ljubljana. 1987-1993: Town Planning Institute of Republic of Slovenia, (research work, detail plans for cities Ljubljana and Novo mesto) 1993-2000: Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, Office of spatial planning, (Department on regional planning - two years as head, Department of international issues) 2000 - Municipality of Celje, (MOC): Department of Spatial planning and Land management, Director (2000-2002), Assistant director 2002-2003; 2003 - 2005: MOC: Head of Sector for Spatial planning and European projects; Municipality of Ljubljana: Head of department of Town Planning, (2005 - ). International activities: 1989: one month in National Swedish institute for Building Research, Gävle, Sweden. 1993: Summer School on European Land Policy, Cambridge University, GB 1995: paper (Regional spatial planning in Pomurje region, Slovenia), presented on AESOP Seminar, Glasgow, GB. 1996: invited paper (Development consequences on TEN's in Slovenia) presented on CE/CEMAT Conference, Athens; 1997: DORA study (ÖIR, Vienna), national correspondent for Slovenia.1998-99: member of Slovenian negotiation group for membership to EU: Group 21, Regional development and Structural funds. 2001: ECTP Conference, Leuven-le-Neuve, Belgium: invited paper: Territorial Impact Assessment as a tool for planning of motorways in Slovenia; 2005: invited report on state-of.the-art on Regional planning in Slovenia, TU Wien, seminar. EU projects: - GILDA – SPIL (Interreg II-B), project manager, Slovenia, 1999-2000. - IMONODE (Interreg III-B; head of project – project partner, Municipality of Celje, 2002-2005. - CESTA (Interreg III-B), Steering Committee member; the proposal, not adopted, 2005.
